Meet the Designer

Darryl Legaspi, M.Ed.

Darryl has been an edutainer (educator/entertainer) for over a decade. He was an early adopter of Google’s educational tools, an incorporator of all things Project-Based Learning, and an all around fun dude. He is passionate about engaging activities like digital escape rooms, design thinking, and the efficiency of using Google tools. No wonder he is the perfect Experience Designer for friEdOnline! I tried to do the Google exam last summer on my own and became frustrated and quit. friEd changed that for me. I made it through all the lessons in one go!!
Jennifer
I thought everything was great! It was engaging and the activities were user-friendly, which made it enjoyable! I like how there was written text and videos. Wow! That's great for such a variety of learners. Melissa was very helpful and I appreciate her energy! Thank you so much for creating a fun, knowledge packed- learning experience! I also thought the guy in the videos made them fun and engaging. Not dry and dull like so many videos out there. WOW! Way to go team!
Rebecca
Each moment in instruction (both direct and asynchronous) gave me new ideas to implement into the classroom. Components were visually inviting and kept my interest! Instructors were wonderful and approachable! This was my favorite training session I have taken and experienced!
Jennifer
Thank you for putting together a very user friendly program. I love how it was flexible and also allowed for accommodations (try it on your own or watch the helpful videos). This program meets all learners where they are!
Ericka
This is the best online course I've ever taken! Super user-friendly! I loved watching the video explanations of the steps. It made it very easy to complete on my own.

I will highly recommend this course study to others. Even if they choose not to further their certifications, oh the things they will learn to help them on a day to day basis in the classroom!!
