Meet the Expert

Allison Yeager

Allison spent the first 10 years of her career as an elementary educator in a large district in DFW. She taught 1st-3rd graders through the years, in both regular and dual language programs. As a teacher, she loved finding ways to integrate technology to engage and create new learning experiences for her students. She then spent 3 years serving as an EdTech specialist for the same school district where she was able to share her passion for EdTech with teachers and administrators. Allison’s most recent experience was in the corporate world where she was able to hone her training and instructional design skills for an auto-finance company. Her true passion for education and educators brought her to friEd Technology where she joins the friEdOnline team as a Learning Experience Specialist.
Lauren is a Google Level 1 & Level 2 Certified Educator, Google Certified Innovator, and a Google Certified Trainer.

Darryl Legaspi, M.Ed.

Darryl has been an edutainer (educator/entertainer) for over a decade. He was an early adopter of Google’s educational tools, an incorporator of all things Project-Based Learning, and an all around fun dude. After teaching, he ventured into educational technology as a digital learning specialist and then media specialist. He is passionate about engaging activities like digital escape rooms, design thinking, and the efficiency of using Google tools. No wonder he is the perfect Experience Designer for friEdOnline! He is also a co-host of the “Flipping Good Tech” podcast along with his friend and colleague, Elizabeth. Darryl is a fun-loving guy who likes corny dad jokes and long walks on the beach.

Thanks for an energetic experience. So many online CEU opportunities are dull and have a difficult time staying focused. Thanks for making it exciting.
This was perhaps the best virtual, self-paced professional development I have ever taken. I found Mr. Legaspi to be very entertaining.
This course was fantastic! I love how it is self paced and you can rewatch any section to fully understand. The practice drills are quick mini lessons I know helped to benefit my learning of the content.
I loved this PD. Self-paced means I can still be a teacher, wife and mom while getting CEU's at the same time. Perfect for me!
I definitely learned useful tools that I already began using. I learned how to split the screen, how to keep my video showing even when I need to move over to another tab, and I love the captions on any page. These tips are already making me a better, more efficient educator. Thank you!!
This is by far one of the best course/training I have ever experienced. I love the checklist and completion list thats provided in my course. It kept me on track and I could see my progress which kept me focus and motivating me to finish the course. I also loved how smooth everything was and the resources you all provided during each section I was learning about. I learned so much!! I feel like I have a wealth of knowledge and I thought knew a lot about Google prior to coming to this course but, boy was I wrong. I discovered so many features and resources that I wasn't aware of. I will be able to utilize what I have learned and take it back to my classroom. It was overall just a great and fantastic experience. I would highly recommend you all to my co workers and to all teachers.
